We had a very busy consumer spending day the day after Thanksgiving in stores and on-line through “Cyber Monday.” It shows that Americans have faith in better days ahead in spite of the lack of leadership by their chosen representatives in Washington.
By nature we are an optimistic people who will do the hard work necessary to pull through tough economic times. We hope Washington will do the same.
Mark Twain said, “Suppose you were an idiot. And suppose you were a member of Congress. But then, I repeat myself.”
We will have a chance to have our say soon in national elections. Study up!
