In 1940 Helen Keller wrote the following:
“Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do
the children of men, as a whole, experience it… Avoiding danger
is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. The fearful is
caught as often as the bold…Life is either a daring adventure or
nothing. To keep our faces toward change and behave like free
spirits, in the presence of fate, is strength undefeatable.”
Life is a great adventure. It is not controllable. You face risks walking down the street or going around the corner. Therefore, we might as well push into it and enjoy it.
Relationships are often the greatest part of our lives. As we head towards Christmas let us emotionally and physically embrace those we are in a relationship with. Let us hold them close and tell them how important they are in our lives and how much they mean to us.
Let us finish strong in 2016 and let us push into the adventure of life and not be afraid.
