It appears that child molesters are like mass murderers. They don’t stop until they are incarcerated. When confronted by the mother of a victim before two Penn State security officers in 1997, the defensive coordinator said enough to convict him of the felony charge. He is never charged with the crime admitted. He retires from the college in 1998 and is allowed to continue to use the football facilities (bait?) until he is recently arrested. He’s told to stay out of the children’s charity that he started. Therefore, we know college administrators, coaches, staff, charity employees, and charitable board members all knew of these inferences of ongoing heinous crimes, yet did not bring it to the attention of the police or children’s protective services.
Aren’t each of these individuals guilty of committing a crime by not reporting the possible child molestations? Two college administrators are now charged with crimes relating to not reporting the child molestations. How many more should be or will be charged? Why should so many cover up these ongoing heinous crimes against defenseless young boys? What’s in the water in Happy Valley?
We will all stay tuned as we try to gather more facts to understand why so many stayed so mute….
