We often make New Year’s resolutions and promise ourselves, and possibly others, that in the new year we will lose weight, improve our health, learn a new skill, clean the garage, fix up our home, get a new automobile or become fluent in a new language. What these resolutions are about is trying to improve our lives in ways that could be improved if we take specific action to start moving forward. If you put in an hour a day on a new skill set, you are likely to acquire that skill over the next year.
Unfortunately, most of these resolutions are forgotten, dropped, set aside or totally abandoned. However, “getting our affairs in order” is important and is something we need to do and should do if we take action this coming year. Part of that should include your estate planning, business succession planning or asset protection planning that may be needed for you or your loved ones.
At the Law Firm of Steven Andrew Jackson, Attorney and Counsellor at Law, we have helped hundreds of families protect themselves and their loved ones, avoid Estate Taxes and Probate Costs, and keep their Estate Plans current with the law through The Customized Protective Estate Planning Solution™.
