Pat Bowlen, president and owner of the NFL Denver Bronco’s Team has resigned as President due to having Alzheimer’s disease. He has struggled with this disease for at least five (5) years. He is 70 years old. The team is held by his Trust. This is another example of a well-known individual in the news whose decline of Mental Capacity has precluded him from operating a successful business.
Alzheimer’s disease, Dementia and other forms of Mental Capacity seem to be on the rise. They need to be planned for in your Estate Plan. You six times more likely in a given year to become Mentally Disabled than you are to pass on. Therefore, Mental Disability Planning definitely needs to be a part of your Estate Plan.
In our Law Firm we do Mental Disability Planning inside of our client’s Living Trust through the Customized Protective Estate Plan Solution™. Unfortunately it is a vital and necessary part of any Estate Planning. It also seems to be becoming more important, and more likely to be used with the news of each passing week.
At the Law Firm of Steven Andrew Jackson, Attorney and Counsellor at Law, we have helped hundreds of families protect themselves and their loved ones, avoid Estate Taxes and Probate Costs, and keep their Estate Plans current with the law through The Customized Protective Estate Planning Solution™.
